Disaster Management Training for Oil Companies in Jammu
Jammu, April 25: Shri. Navin Agarwal IGP Civil Defence J&K, Jammu chaired a meeting on imparting training in Disaster management to employees of HPCL, IOC, BPCL and people residing in the vicinity of patrol pumps in the Jammu town. Meeting was attended by Shri Yashpal Aithmian, Deputy Manager (Ops), Indian Oil Corporation, Shri Sarbjeet Singh Depot Incharge Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, Shri Deeraj Malik Deputy Manager (RS) of Indian Oil Corporation, Shri Rajesh Sharma, Assistant Manager (Sales) of Bharat Petroleum besides Shri Gh. Sarwar Chauhan, Staff officer of IGP HG/ CD & Aux. Police J&K and Smt. Manjeet Kour, Deputy Controller, Civil Defence, Jammu. During the meeting representatives of these Oil Companies requested for imparting training to its employees. IGP assured them that shortly a training programme will be started and Deputy Controller Civil Defence, Jammu will liaise with these companies in this regard.
