Civil Defence condemns blasts at Jammu bus stand

 

 

Jammu, June 13: A meeting of the civil defence wardens/volunteers was held on June 12, 2006 under the chairmanship of Dy.Chief warden Sh. Vinod Malhotra. Civil defence wardens condemned the blasts at Jammu bus stand. While speaking Vinod Malhotra said that it is a shameful act on part of terrorists. He also expressed his grief and sorrow over the killing an innocent person in the blast. He further urged the Civil defence wardens/volunteers to remain vigil to combat the activities of anti-social and anti national elements. Paramjit Deputy Chief warden (south) also appealed the civil defence wardens and volunteers to assist the administration where and when required and to maintain the communal harmony. Prominent among those were Sh. Shashi Kohli, K.Kutty, Th. Ranjit Singh besides other post wardens were also present.
