Jammu August 1: On 30th July, 2006 SSP Rajouri Farooq Khan Chaired a meeting of civil defence Rajouri and said that the civil defence volunteers to cooperate with police for the smooth conduct of Independence day on 15th August 2006.

Sh.K.K.Langer Chief warden Civil Defence Rajouri briefed the participants about the working of civil defence. He Stated that in District Rajouri there are three places where civil defence volunteers are working. These are naushera, Sunderbani and Rajouri town. He further said that in Rajouri, Sunderbani, Nowshera 963,217 & 78 volunteers respectively are fully trained to face any situations.
SSP Rajouri said that Civil Defence is not a small organisation working only in India but it is working all over the world. He further said that the organisation like Civil defence has worked in maintaining the national integration of the country.
SSP Khan further requested that Civil Defence volunteers have came forward with zeal and enthusiasm to cooperate with police for the smooth conduction of Independence Day.
