An Awareness Rally by Civil Defence at Akhnoor

 

Jammu August 2: On 18th July 2006 an awareness rally was taken out from Main Bazar Akhnoor under the presence of Sr. Supdt. of Police Sh.P.Pankaj & Dy. SP Mohd Taj Area Commander Homeguards Akhnoor and Smt. Kuldeep Kour Post Warden Akhnoor which went through Bus Stand & Main chowks of Akhnoor city and finally culminated at Kameswar Market Akhnoor.

On this occasion Smt. Kour address the rally and said that the aim of civil defence is a self defence , of the people, for the people & by the people. She also stressed upon to join the Civil Defence and save the nation. Prominent among those where Sh.Rakesh Kumar, Yashpaul, Ravinder Magotra, Kishore Kumar, Jagannath, Vijay Kumar, Choudhery Smrat and various wardens & volunteers of CD town Akhnoor.
