Certificate Distribution Function

 

Jammu October 10: A function was organised by the Civil Defence Jammu at Shikha Niketan School Gandhi Nagar Jammu on 7th oct. 2006 in which certificates were distributed among those students (Civil Defence volunteers) who participated in a Civil Defence rally held recently.

Sh.Mohd Majid Malik Dy.SP Principal of Central Training Institute Jammu was the chief guest on this occasion. He stressed upon the students to become Civil Defence volunteer and get themselves trained to meet any contingency. He also assured school administration that soon civil defence training camp would be organized in this regard.

Sh.Jugal Mahajan chief warden civil defence Jammu presided over the function and he said that all out efforts are being made to generate awareness among the people about the civil defence schemes. He said that similar drives would be launched in more areas and acquainted the students with the role and scope of civil defence.

Sh.Rameshwar Mengi Principal of the school welcomed the Civil Defence team and expressed his gratitude for involving his school in civil defence activities and assured his full cooperation to civil defence organisation in future as well. Sh.Rakesh Kumar Teacher of the school conducted the proceedings of the fuction.

Sh.Shashi Kohli Dy. Division warden Jammu coordinated the function and participation of children in civil defence on various occasion.

Prominent among those were all the faculty and students of the school besides large number of Civil Defence wardens & volunteers.
