Awareness Camp by Civil Defence Rajouri

 

January 16th: One day civil defence awareness camp was organized at higher secondary school Darhaal on 11th January 2007. The program was inaugurated by chief guest Col M.K.Joshi, Commanding officer, 48 Rashtriya Rifles. Sh.Joshi spoke on the occasion and expressed satisfaction over the civil defence measures undertaken in Rajouri. Sh.K.K.Langer chief warden civil defence Rajouri threw light on the activities of civil defence.

A team of civil defence instructors of Central Training Institute of Homeguards/Civil Defence Jammu was deputed to deliver lecture/demonstration and create awareness among the public. The camp was attended by about 400 students of Govt.Higher Secondary School Darhal besides the staff, civil defence functionaries and prominent citizens.
