January 27th: Sh. Jia Lal Sharma Divisional warden civil defence Jammu has been awarded civil defence medal for meritorious services on the occasion of Republic Day 2007 in recognition of his good work. Sh. Sharma has been associated with civil defence for the last more than two decades in the capacity of warden/volunteer and has been instrumental in spreading civil defence scheme in the region.
