Passing Out Parade at Central Training Institute

Jammu, May 18th: New batch of 29 Homeguards volunteers who underwent 35days Basic training course at Central Training Institute of Homeguards and Civil Defence Jammu, passed out successfully on May 16, 2007. Sh. T.Phunsog,IPS Commandant Aux. Police 2nd Bn Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion. He took salute and later on also distributed certificates and cash rewards among the Homeguards volunteers for their outstanding performance in various disciplines of training: G/M Ajay Kumar No.87/Kathua(First Position), G/M Ved Parkash No.72/Jammu (Second Position), G/M Sumit Singh No.265/Jammu (Third Position), while G/M Mohd. Shafeeq No.138/Poonch was adjudged as best marks man and G/M Anil Kumar No.205/Kathua as best trainee.

Chief guest in his address congratulated the VHGs on passing out and expressed hoppiness that during training, volunteer Homeguards exhibited great dedication, devotion and hardwork. Earlier Sh.S.M.Khatotra Divisional Commandant Homeguards Jammu highlighted the various activities of CTI Jammu and the training programme to be started in near future. Among others present on the occasion were Principal CTI Ms.Manjit Kour Dy.SP, Sh.T.R.Rana,Dy.SP, Sh.P.D.Sharma Dy.SP, Sh.K.K.Sharma Dy.SP and other Senior Police officers and CD wardens attended the function.
