Civil Defence Organises Communication Course

 

Jammu, May 25th: A three days communication course was organized at provincial level for the wardens of Civil Defence category towns of Jammu zone w.e.f. 21-5-2007 to 23-5-2007 at the Hqrs. of Central Training Institute Home Guards / Civil Defence Jammu. Shri Bupinder Singh, Supdt. of Police, Police Telecommunications Jammu Zone Jammu was the chief Guest on the occasion. Shri Bupinder highlighted the importance of communication at time of disaster and gave an insight into the handling and utility of sophisticated communication equipments like Walkie Talkie sets in modern communication Net Work especially in the Civil Defence communication coverage. Chief guest distributed pocket allowances and training certificates among the Civil Defence Wardens who underwent this residential course. Senior wardens from Jammu zone participated in this training programme.
