Civil Defence Organizes Free Medical Camp

Jammu, August 19th: A one day free medical camp was organized by civil defence Samba at Shah Balore on 18-8-2007. In this connection the services of a team of Doctors/Specialists was utilized. The medical team consisting of specialists, paramedicos and the civil defence volunteers was flaged off by the Dy.Commissioner Samba and other Distt. Administration officers were also present on the occasion. In this connection a colourful and impressive function was held at Dy.Commissioner office from where the motorcade of medical staff and the civil defence wardens was flagged off. The response of the public was overwhelming and beyond anticipation as a huge number of people came for taking free medical advice/ medicines.

The patients were given free medicines on this occasion which were provided for this medical camp on voluntary basis. The entire function was organized under the guidness/ instructions of Sh.Navin Agarwal IPS, IGP HG/CD & Aux. Police J&K in which the entire warden service participated whole heartedly. The local people expressed happiness and requested for holding such medical camps in future also.
