One Day Awareness Camp organised By Civil Defence Samba

On 18th Nov.2008, Civil Defence Samba organised a one day awareness camp at National High School Samba under the supervision of Sh.Parveen Singh, Dy.SP, Dy.Controller Civil Defence Samba. The camp was attended by more than 300 students besides locals of the peripheral area also. The camp was organised as a part of on going awareness campaign which has been launched by the Civil Defence Samba to make the general masses aware about the aims and objectives of the Civil Defence.
The camp was organised with the active participation of the Chief Warden, Dy.Chief Warden and the entire warden service of Samba who played a pivotal role in organizing awareness camp.
During the camp, the attending students showed a lot of enthusiasm and interest. The participants were given basic knowledge of the various techniques of fire-fighting, first aid and other rescue related techniques. The people present on the occasion, also expressed happiness and satisfaction for organizing such awareness camps for the benefit of the civilians. The entire warden functionaries also expressed a desire that they will work relentlessly for holding of Medical/ awareness camps in future also.
